Our work ranges from the serious business of strategic planning and brand repositioning – to the magic of creating emotionally engaging communications that make people want to shop, dine and play.  

We are looking to recruit a Digital Marketing Executive into our team to provide additional support in the business, while giving the successful candidate the opportunity to develop skills and experience to further build on their career in Digital Marketing.

Job Purpose

As Digital Marketing Executive, you will lead on the development and implementation of strong and innovative digital marketing strategies for clients across our portfolio, working with Account Managers to drive digital success and upsell opportunities. You will be one of two team members in the digital team, working closely with our existing Digital Marketing Assistant.

In addition to supporting clients with digital services such as email marketing, PPC campaigns, SEO and website support, long-term you will have the opportunity to lead digital marketing operations at Toolbox, taking responsibility for growing the department and enhancing our service delivery.

You will have excellent communication and time management skills. You will use your eye for detail and reporting skills to complete reports and support with campaign evaluations.

You will be required to ensure all work undertaken on behalf of Toolbox Marketing is delivered to a high standard.

Focus and responsibility  

1Lead in the coordination, delivery, and reporting of digital-focused marketing strategies and campaigns. Including supporting Account Manager with annual strategic planning for clients.
2Take responsibility for our digital-only client accounts.
3Support website search engine optimisation efforts, content creation, and reporting to improve online visibility. Including keyword research.
4Pay-per-click ad campaign delivery, monitoring, improvement, and reporting.
5Drive database marketing efforts using Mailchimp, including creating, sending, and reporting on email campaigns.
6Work in partnership with Account Managers on integrating digital marketing efforts with physical campaigns and events.
7Collaborate with content marketing colleagues to ensure affinity between campaign efforts and reporting.
8Support the analysis of campaign performance, reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) and return on investment (ROI).
9Price up digital campaign and service delivery, ensuring suitable margins are achieved.
10Manage the day-to-day workload and flow of tasks for the Digital team using Monday.com project management software. 
11Support the Growth & Performance Manager with new business opportunities by contributing to proposal documents and attending pitches where required.
12Work with the Account Director and Account Managers to drive upsell of digital services and products among existing clients.
13Attend site visits to client destinations for meetings where required.
14Stay up to date with industry trends, topics, features & functions.

Relevant Experience:

  1. Proven experience and knowledge of digital marketing practices such as; Search Engine Optimisation, Pay-per-click Ads, WordPress websites, Google analytics, Mailchimp and similar software(s).
  2. Excellent communicator, both verbal and written.
  3. Knowledge of social media platforms.
  4. Experience of working in a marketing agency is beneficial but not required.

Requirements: 

  • Driving licence and car to easily travel to the location of our office. 
  • 2+ years experience in Digital Marketing.
