Challenge
Lower Precinct Shopping Centre were eager to trial a different event concept for the centre which engaged shoppers during the Easter holidays. They were keen for the event to drive shoppers to a range of stores within the centre and increase dwell time.
Solution
During the Easter holidays, Toolbox hosted a fun but educational dinosaur-themed event at Lower Precinct. Throughout the event, shoppers embarked on an educational centre-wide trail. Upon finding each hidden trial sheet, shoppers discovered a QR code, which once scanned, revealed a fun dinosaur fact! Once they completed the trail, shoppers were rewarded with a dinosaur egg that they took home to hatch in water!
Alongside the trail, shoppers participated in a dinosaur-digging workshop where they hunted for dinosaur eggs. There was also a large Velociraptor and two baby dinosaurs which shoppers interacted with and took photos of.

The staff were all fantastic, especially on the fossil digging stand. Such a fantastic activity for children who can’t get away at Easter!”
