Creative Window Display Campaign – Supporting Alzheimer’s Society

Explore how we transformed an empty unit into a vibrant, community-driven window display in partnership with Alzheimer’s Society, blending brand promotion, charitable support, and social media engagement.

 

Challenge:
Culver Square Shopping Centre in Colchester needed to address the visual impact of empty units while building community engagement, promoting the centre’s tenants, and supporting a meaningful cause.

We launched an innovative campaign that transformed an unused unit’s window into a vibrant and engaging showcase in partnership with Alzheimer’s Society.

The display featured a curated selection of items from the centre’s tenants, alongside generous donations from local businesses. These items were available as part of a raffle prize bundle worth over £1,000. Visitors could easily participate by scanning a QR code on the window, allowing them to purchase raffle tickets directly from their phones. All proceeds from the raffle were donated to Alzheimer’s Society.

The window display also provided clear information about how the funds would support Alzheimer’s Society’s local initiatives, ensuring that visitors understood the positive impact of their contribution. This creative, community-driven display not only diverted attention away from the vacant unit but also fostered local engagement, raised awareness for Alzheimer’s Society and encouraged social media interaction. It was a memorable and impactful shopping experience for everyone visiting Culver Square.
