Toolbox Marketing scoops Highly Commended at the Engage B2B Awards
Bury St Edmunds based marketing agency, Toolbox Marketing, has scooped the Highly Commended accolade at the National Engage B2B Awards 2022 in the Marketing Team of the Year category.
The 2022 Engage B2B Awards has categories covering all aspects of sales and marketing excellence. A record-breaking number of entries were submitted into the awards programme between January and October 2022 and some of the world’s best B2B sales and marketing success stories were entered into the programme from organisations including Microsoft, Sophos, Content+Cloud, Lucidworks, Coursera, Ericsson, NFU Mutual Direct, Alida, Xactly Corp, CCI Global, Andela, Scorebuddy, Boots, Zendesk, Searcys, The Happiness Index and more.
The unknown situation caused by the pandemic meant that Toolbox Marketing had to pull together as a team more than ever before. At the core of Toolbox’s business is marketing for shopping centres, so when non-essential retail was closed, and the government guidance was ever-changing, the work was to ensure not only their business stayed afloat, but that the clients and their clients also survived. Even the in-house graphic designers at Toolbox were involved in communicating effectively and supporting national retailers and small independent stores, some closed and some open as they were essential retailers.
The team’s full suite of marketing skills were pushed to the limits to deliver outstanding results for their clients. Each and every team member communicated with the community as that’s key in being innovative to make sure that they could deliver more on the same budget, or at least something on a reduced budget. And working with the community meant budgets could go further by being there for them, providing them with a platform to raise awareness, assisting in raising necessary funds and pioneering the start of long-term partnerships.
Chloe Keith, Managing Director of Toolbox Marketing said “The Toolbox Marketing team really went above and beyond for their old and new clients during an extremely uncertain period. The closure of non-essential retail was highly worrying for all team members, but they showed up (online) daily to ensure a high standard of marketing services were delivered, achieving some outstanding results. The team have grown closer as they supported each other professionally and personally. To have remained fully operational during 2021 is a credit to the team. We have come out of this on top, smiling and in a really good position to grow the business and achieve and exceed objectives for our clients in 2022. New skills and ways of working from 2021 have been transferred into 2022. As a team, we have learnt a lot in a short space of time, and I am extremely excited to see what the future holds for Team Pink and its clients, their clients and the communities in 2022 and beyond.”
Nicholas Rust, Managing Director at Engage Business Media, said “This year’s overall standard of entries really does highlight the innovative thinking of those in the B2B sales and marketing industries – our finalists truly are shaping the future of success.” The Engage B2B Awards finalists and winners have been chosen by judges who are trusted experts in the sales and marketing spaces from a wide range of industries.
On the 8th of December, more than 200 people attended the Engage B2B Awards at the Victoria Park Plaza in London. Celebrating excellence in B2B Sales and Marketing, the Engage B2B Awards received over 150 entries from various companies who shared their success stories with our panel of judges.
